Andromeda Child Blog: When Radio Jingles Sounded as good as the Music!
There was a time, only a couple of decades ago when the UK’s early commercial radio stations played sung station identification jingles and acapellas that sounded every bit as good as those played by their US counterparts across the Atlantic... even outshining the music of the day times.  ANDREW FLEMING remembers those that traversed the north east England ether in the 1970s and 1980s.
